Camp Details
This fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running will be emphasized through daily drills, lectures, batting cage sessions and various other demonstrations. Coaches provide encouragement while concentrating on group instruction and position training. All campers can be assured of an equal amount of playing time during regularly scheduled camp games with teammates of thier age and skill level.

The University of San Diego baseball staff is pleased to offer its hitting camps for all skill levels and ages for 2009-2010. Player’s ages 10 through seniors in high school will be able to hone their skills with USD baseball coaches and players. Learn the Torero approach to hitting at USD Baseball Hitting Camps. USD hitting Coach Jay Johnson and other Torero coaches and players will teach the fundamentals of hitting to all who attend. The staff will teach the campers proper swing mechanics through drill progressions and deliver the proper mental approach to hitting to maximize success at the plate.

Camp Features:
- 2.5 campers to 1 coach ratio
- 5 lighted hitting tunnels for maximum hitting drill work and instruction
- Variety of hitting drills applied individually to each hitter to make swing correction and adjustments
- Individual video analysis and breakdown of swing with USD coaching staff with written analysis and feedback
